Nine Lessons and Carols
We will gather again for one of our favorite nights of the year to sing and listen to readings from Scripture to hear the old, old story of our Lord’s saving acts.
Nine Lessons and Carols is a 19th century worship service that tells the story of the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus. It is told in nine short Bible lessons from Genesis, the prophetic books, and the Gospels, and interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols, songs and hymns.
