Grace Kids seeks to embody the prized place children occupy in Christ’s kingdom.
We believe children are a vital part of the church today—not just the church of tomorrow.
That’s why our Kids & Family Ministry is built around three core values: creating a safe environment, teaching the gospel clearly and consistently, and making it all fun and engaging for every child.
GRACE KIDS STAFF
OUR MISSION
The mission of Grace Kids is to enter into partnership with parents as they disciple and raise their children, and to provide meaningful formation opportunities in a fun and safe environment.
We are here to support you, encourage your family, and create a space where your kids can grow in faith, friendships, and love for Jesus.
SUNDAY PROGRAMMING
We offer Sunday morning programming for children from infants through 3rd grade:
Infants & Toddlers are welcomed into warm, nurturing classrooms where trained volunteers care for them with attentiveness and joy.
Preschoolers experience the love of God through Bible stories, worship songs, crafts, and hands-on activities.
K–3rd Graders engage in gospel-centered teaching, worship, small group discussions, and games that help them build a lasting faith foundation.
FAQs
My child has allergies. What should I do?
Grace Kids provides a goldfish snack each Sunday beginning in the toddler classroom. For non-Sunday morning events, we may provide other snack items like chips, pizza, etc. If your child has a medical need or allergies, please let our check in leader know so that care information can be added to your child's name tag. For younger children, please also alert your child's classroom teacher.
Should my child sit with me during the service?
They can! We prize the place of children within our body, so they can certainly sit in the service with you instead of coming to their class in Grace Kids. Please note that all children 1st- 3rd grade begin the service sitting with their families before being dismissed to their class before the sermon begins.
What is your sick policy?
Parents are asked not to bring their child to Grace Kids if any one of the following conditions exists or has existed in the last 24 hours:
Temperature of 100 degrees or higher
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Severe coughing
Colored nasal drainage
Open skin lesions
If a child shows signs of sickness (including, but not limited to all listed above) classroom leaders will contact the parents to pick them up.
How old does my baby need to be before they can attend nursery?
We ask that your child have their 2-month old vaccinations before dropping them off at nursery.
What does Grace Kids offer for children with special needs?
We would love to partner with you in ministering to your child. Contact Paige Bierman for more information.
Is there a place for nursing moms?
Yes! We have a nursing mother's room adjacent to the sanctuary. It is accessible through the right side of the sanctuary.
Who staffs Grace Kids classes on Sunday mornings?
We do! In every class we have a primary teacher and at least one assistant. In compliance with our Child Protection Policy, all adults are background checked before serving. They are prepared with a Bible story lesson, crafts, games, and more to help teach your kids the Word of God!
What happens after my child completes third grade?
After completing the third grade, your son or daughter will receive an invitation for our Upper Elementary Discipleship Program. More information on that is available upon request by emailing James Martin! At that time, we encourage your child to begin participating in the Sunday service.
